It is an all too common experience for students, where for the majority of their classes there are no tests or assignments for a large stretch of time. Then suddenly, in one week, a wildly high array of classes decide to hold tests. To combat this issue of over-stressing students, not leave many teachers with too little time to move assignments around for students’ sake, communicative planning sessions, teacher oriented assignment calendars, as well as information on what other classes a teacher’s students are taking, should be provided and encouraged as to avoid over-stressing students. These are not the only solutions, but some among a large variety of remedies.
