The current standards of attendance are seen as utterly absurd by students and teachers alike (rather that giving the intended impression of students attending an adequate number of school hours, it will instead give the impression that there was an increase in student absences by some absurd figure perhaps in the range of 6-15 times the normal rate, depending on class and method of recording attendance). To make matters worse, students rarely use the time for the work that time is supposedly allotted for (i.e. history asynchronous time for history homework, math asynchronous time for math homework etc). This policy should be removed.
